The standard we follow
We design and build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Automated checks for color contrast, headings, links and layout at phone widths run every time the site is built, and we review pages with a keyboard before they go live.
What this means on the site
- Text is real text, not a picture of it, apart from the logo, and you can enlarge it. On a phone-width screen, pages fit in one column with no sideways scrolling.
- Text and controls are checked for contrast on both the light and the dark pages.
- Each page has one main heading, and the headings below it follow in order.
- You can use the menu, the channel catalog and the lists of questions with a keyboard. A visible outline shows where the keyboard focus is, and the Escape key closes the menu.
- The moving lines on some pages can be stopped with the "Pause motion" control. They also stop when they are out of view, and they stay still if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Photos have text descriptions, and the words of every diagram are also in the page text.
- Page content and the contact form work with scripts turned off. Sections that open and close use the browser's own elements.
- Every field in the contact form has a visible label, errors are described in words next to the field, and there is no puzzle or outside check to pass before you send.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site is hard to read or use, write to administration@strion-inc.com with the page address and what happened. If you need information from the site in another format, ask at the same address.
When we find a part of the site that does not meet the standard, we fix it, or we describe it on this page together with another way to get the same information.
